3760895 - Updating contacts via API fails when using field string IDs for single-choice/multi-choice fields - SAP Engagement Cloud

An error occurs when updating contacts via API using the field string ID. For example, to update the field ID 31 (Opt-in), the field string ID "optin" is used in the payload instead of the ID 31:

{"2007":"Invalid choice id for field id: optin"}.

Using the field ID "31" instead of the field string ID"optin" works in the same request.
