3760932 - Unable to access the "Custom Business Objects" app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

The "Custom Business Objects" app tile is not available.

 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The user is not assigned a business role that contains the required business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO" for the Custom Business Objects app.

Resolution

Assign the business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO" to the affected user role (BR_EXTENSIBILITY_SPEC).

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the "Maintain Business Roles" app.
  2. Search for the role "BR_EXTENSIBILITY_SPEC".
  3. Click on "Edit".
  4. Navigate to the "Business Catalogs" tab.
  5. Search for the business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO".
  6. If the catalog is not assigned, choose "Add" and assign "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO".
  7. Navigate to the "Business Users" tab.
  8. Add the affected business user to the role.
  9. Click on Save.

After the role assignment is completed, refresh the launchpad and access the Custom Business Objects app again.
