Symptom
The "Custom Business Objects" app tile is not available.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
The user is not assigned a business role that contains the required business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO" for the Custom Business Objects app.
Resolution
Assign the business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO" to the affected user role (BR_EXTENSIBILITY_SPEC).
Follow these steps:
- Open the "Maintain Business Roles" app.
- Search for the role "BR_EXTENSIBILITY_SPEC".
- Click on "Edit".
- Navigate to the "Business Catalogs" tab.
- Search for the business catalog "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO".
- If the catalog is not assigned, choose "Add" and assign "SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_CBO".
- Navigate to the "Business Users" tab.
- Add the affected business user to the role.
- Click on Save.
After the role assignment is completed, refresh the launchpad and access the Custom Business Objects app again.
