3761004 - If Latest Editing UI is enabled, onView rule could not retrieve company value when transferring user to another position-CS1H2026

Symptom

There is an onView rule configured under jobInfo to set fields' visibility to None when the company field has a value.

  •  When enabling the Latest Editing UI, the company field value is retrieved as Null, causing fields to be hidden according to the rule trace.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to an user's profile
  2. Click pencil icon to add a new record
  3. Choose any date and event reason, change position to 3001561
  4. The Supervisor and Test String 1 fields are hidden.
  5. Check the rule trace, company is retrieved as null

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.
