• SuccessFactors Job Failed Authentication with BTP Mobile Services
• Customer is trying to run job to activate Joule - Enable BTP Mobile Authentication as per Enabling Authentication with BTP Mobile Services | SAP Help Portal. But all tentatives are failling.
• BTP Mobile Authentication Job is failing with the error: Insufficient time remaining (4 minutes) for next API call interval. Cancelling job

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Per Customer is trying to run job to activate Joule - Enable BTP Mobile Authentication as per Enabling Authentication with BTP Mobile Services | SAP Help Portal. But all tentatives are failling.

From SF Provisioning find below job execution failed:

1. Monitor Schedule jobs > search for Enable BTP Mobile Authentication
2. job name: btpMobileAuthentication_Timestamp
3. Job type:  Enable BTP Mobile Authentication
4. Check Job run details, observed the job executed failed. e.g "failed: Full exception:com.successfactors.jobscheduler.ScheduledJobExecutionException: BTPMobileAuthenticationJob: Insufficient time remaining (4 minutes) for next API call interval. Cancelling job."

This is a known issue per confirmed with our engineering team.

The job run over 25 minutes and failed with error "BTPMobileAuthenticationJob: Insufficient time remaining (4 minutes) for next API call interval. Cancelling job." it's because of DC level BTP certificate is expired on May 20, 2026.

The Engineering team is working on the fix of this issue and the patch time is planned at:

June, 11, 2026 for Production and Preview instances.

June, 12, 2026 for Paid Salesdemo instances.

Workaround before the fix:

Please find an admin account that username is the same with userId to execute the upgrade center task: Enabling Authentication with BTP Mobile Services | SAP Help Portal
