3761185 - Changing filter view from hierarchy to flat clears Data Action parameter in planning trigger - SAC Excel Add-in

• In SAC Add-in, the data action parameter is removed from the Save Data / Planning Trigger panel after changing the filter selection from “Hierarchy” to “Flat Presentation”.
• No error message is displayed.

SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Office

1. In the SAP Analytics Cloud add-in for Microsoft Office (Excel), open a planning workbook with a Data Action configured and a parameter set in the Save Data / Planning Trigger panel.
2. Open the filter dialog for the dimension used as the parameter (for example, Consolidation Unit) and change the view from “Hierarchy” to “Flat Presentation”.
3. Confirm the change and return to the Save Data / Planning Trigger panel.
4. Observe that the previously set Data Action parameter is now empty.

Changing the filter selection mode from hierarchy to flat presentation in the add-in clears the Data Action parameter configuration; this is by-design behavior.

1. Note that this behavior is expected when switching the filter view from hierarchy to flat presentation in the Excel add-in.
