3761307 - Duplicate Navigation Bar and how to remove persistent home page tabs without impacting top navigation - SuccessFactors Work Zone

• Duplicate navigation/tab bar appears on the Home Page in SAP Work Zone
• The top navigation bar displays the configured Menu Items from Menu Editor
• A second navigation/tab bar appears below containing similar tabs as top header

SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone

1. Navigate to the Home Page in SAP Work Zone.
2. Observe the top navigation bar with menus such as Home etc.
3. Observe the second navigation/tab bar that appears below with Home and similar titles as the top navigation bar.
4. Attempt to hide the second navigation bar via disable Persistent Navigation Bar doesn't resolve.

Review Home page tabs: Go to Administration Console > Area & Workspace Configuration > Home Page > Manage Home Page.

Disable the Persistent Navigation Bar feature if enabled: Go to Administration Console > Feature Enablement > Persistent Navigation Bar.

Modify the Menu items: 

1. Set a valid default landing page: Create or select a Work Zone workpage or workspace to serve as the default landing page (note: link-type menu items cannot be set as default).
2. In the Menu Editor, add this workpage/workspace to the menu and choose Set as default.
3. Hide the top-level “Home” menu item in the Menu Editor if it duplicates the Home page tabs, then publish the changes.
4. Verify that only the primary top navigation bar remains and all links function as expected.
