Symptom

Error while creating a custom role; saving the role fails with: "Failed to execute executeBatch. Component = PreparedStatement. Reason = unique constraint violated: Table(sap.fpa.services.security::Security.T_TaskAccess_), Index(_SYS_TREE_CS_#..._#0_#P0) with error: unique constraint violation for table sap.fpa.services.security::Security.T_TaskAccess_en, key: UID=the id already exists; indexname=_SYS_TREE_CS_#..._#0_#P0"

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Security.
  2. Go to Roles and add a new scoped role.
  3. Choose any template.
  4. Try to save the role (the save fails with the unique constraint violation error).

Resolution
