Symptom
- ui_subscription_view
- ui_subscription_withdraw
- ui_subscription_cancel
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
The roles ui_subscription_withdraw and ui_subscription_cancel only function correctly when the additional role ui_subscription_manage is assigned.
However, bear in mind that assigning ui_subscription_manage also grants extended authorizations to the users, including the ability to create new subscriptions and perform additional actions beyond cancellation and withdrawal.
Resolution
The described feature is currently not part of the supported scope.
The role ui_subscription_manage is required as a base authorization to perform changes in the subscription UI; therefore, assigning ui_subscription_cancel without ui_subscription_manage will not function.
For an overview of planned features, refer to the SAP Subscription Billing Road Map.
Requests can also be submitted through the Customer Influence Portal. Such submissions help make product management aware of specific requirements and increase the likelihood of consideration in future enhancements.
