3761887 - iFlow posting data via HTTP adapter fails with error "java.nio.channels.ClosedChannelException"

Symptom

  • The following error message can be seen in CPI message processing logs after executing iFlow sending data via HTTP adapter:

    java.net.ConnectException: https://<remote host>:443, cause: java.nio.channels.ClosedChannelException

  • When the Log Level in Monitor Message Processing is set to "Trace", the following error is also shown:

    Suppressed: io.netty.handler.ssl.StacklessSSLHandshakeException: Connection closed while SSL/TLS handshake was in progress at io.netty.handler.ssl.SslHandler.channelInactive(Unknown Source)

  • Traffic capture (tcpdump/Wireshark) shows an immediate RST packet returned to CPI after the Client Hello.
