When searching for a future-dated hire and attempting to view the profile, the system displays the error message: “You don’t have permission to access the profile content.”
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to instance.
- Search Future-dated hire.
- Click user profile.
- Error appears: “You don’t have permission to access the profile content.”
Cause
Under Company System and Logo Settings, the option “Enable Company Onboarding for Enhanced People Search” is not enabled.
Resolution
Please enable this setting Enable Company Onboarding for Enhanced People Search under Company System and Logo Settings and then check again — the issue should be resolved.
