3761951 - Automatic Login to SAP Datasphere Fails for Some Users When Accessing Live Data Connections from SAC

Symptom

  • When accessing a Datasphere Live Connection (Direct) from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), some users receive the following authentication errors:
    • "You were not automatically logged on to the remote data source. Please ask your administrator to verify the OAuth configuration."
    • "We couldn't connect to your SAP Datasphere tenant. For more information, see our troubleshooting page"
  • The issue only affects specific users, while other users can successfully access the same live connection.
  • This behavior can be intermittent as well.
