3761958 - Cannot re-include written off items in Manage Project Billing: "cannot reinclude non billable items" error - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Not able to re-include items from "view written offs" in the Manage Project Billing app.
• Error message: "Cannot Reinclude Non Billable items".
• Items are perceived as billable by the user.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app Manage Project Billing.
2. Enter the project ID in seach and select GO.
3. Select the relevant billing element and choose Prepare Billing.
4. Choose view written offs.
5. Select the items and choose reinclude.
6. Observe the error message.

Standard behavior: the system does not allow reinclusion of non-billable items.

1. Acknowledge that this is working as designed: non-billable items are written off by default and cannot be re-included under To Invoice.
2. In the written-off view, verify the Billing Control Category. If items are non-billable, re-inclusion is blocked by design.
3. If a project billing request was submitted with amounts written off, those amounts cannot be brought back into any billing cycle.
4. To bill such work in future cycles, avoid writing off items intended for billing and ensure items are billable before preparing and submitting the project billing request.
