3761964 - How to 'Using "Contains" to Refine Agreement Data in Saved Searches'?

Symptom

In Icertis Contract Intelligence, saved searches are commonly used for data extraction, reporting, and bulk operations. In certain scenarios, you may need to exclude specific agreements from your results rather than include them. This can be efficiently achieved using the “Does Not Contain” filter condition.

Understanding Filter Conditions:
When configuring filters in a saved search, the following conditions are commonly used:

  • Contains – Returns records that include the specified keyword
  • Exactly – Matches records with the exact value
  • Starts With – Filters records that begin with a specific pattern
  • Does Not Contain – Excludes records containing specific values

Example Use Case
Suppose you need to retrieve 100 agreements, but want to exclude 20 specific agreements.
Instead of manually selecting required records, you can exclude unwanted agreements using the “Does Not Contain” condition
