Symptom

  • In SmartEdit, when saving changes, the entered HTML is altered.
  • Sanitization and XSS filtering are turned off.
  • The following configurations are in place: ;contentSanitizeEnabled;false, cms.components.allowUnsafeJavaScript=true, smartedit.xss.filter.enabled=false.
  • The user is considering adding CKEDITOR.editorConfig with allowedContent = true.
