Symptom
- When checking the latest record in the custom MDF history, additional fields display even though visibility is restricted by object-based or configurable UI rules.
- The History UI displays additional fields while summary card and the latest record UI display the correct fields.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite 2605
Reproducing the Issue
Cause
This is a known product limitation. The History UI for existing Manage Data entries does not evaluate field-level visibility configured through Configurable UI (object/UI rules), which can result in additional fields being displayed regardless of the defined visibility conditions.
Resolution
- This behavior is expected due to a known product limitation. Field-level visibility rules are not supported in the History UI for existing entries, and there is currently no available workaround to alter this behavior.
