3762130 - Is that possible to delete private bookmarks created by other users in a story

• Unable to delete private bookmarks created by other users in a story.
• A user can delete the own private bookmarks but cannot delete a private bookmark created by another user.

• SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Create a story and save it in a public folder.
2. Create a private bookmark on the story as user A.
3. Create another private bookmark on the same story as user B.
4. As user A (story owner), attempt to delete both private bookmarks. User A can delete their own bookmark but cannot delete the one created by user B.

• Private bookmarks are user-specific by design and only the creator can delete them.
• There is no administrator feature to centrally delete other users' private bookmarks or bulk delete them.

1. This is by design: only the creator of a private bookmark can delete it.
2. To remove a private bookmark, ask the user who created the bookmark to delete it from the story’s bookmark list.
3. If centralized management of bookmarks is required, use public bookmarks instead so they can be governed according to roles and permissions.
