Symptom
Lines with a value of 0 (zero) cannot be imported during Group Reporting data loads; the lines are either rejected or silently ignored by the system.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the Import group journal entries app in Group Reporting.
- Set selection parameters
- Import a document that contains at least one line item with amount 0 (zero).
- Observe that the 0-amount line is rejected or not stored and does not appear in ACDOCU or Group Data apps.
Cause
- By design, zero-amount line items are not stored in the ACDOCU table.
- If there is no transaction data for an FS item or reporting item, it cannot be displayed in Group Data apps; therefore, zero-amount lines are omitted during import/display.
Resolution
- Remove zero-amount line items from the upload file or ensure documents contain non-zero amounts; zero-amount lines are not retained in ACDOCU and will not be visible in Group Data apps.
- If preserving zero-value lines is a business requirement, note that this is currently not supported; consider submitting a feature request via Customer Influence.
