3762376 - Error 'you are not authorized to use node & with object class &' in ewm fiori apps due to restricted default warehouse; change profile default values > warehouse (s/4hana cloud public edition)

• User-specific access issue when launching ewm fiori applications from the launchpad.
• Error message: "You are not authorized to use node & with object class &."
• Affected monitor nodes: /SCWM/MONNAV_CR_P_WT (Create Product Warehouse Tasks) and /SCWM/MONNAV_CR_PC (Create Posting Changes).
• Other users with identical roles can access the same apps without issue.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Launch the SAP Fiori launchpad.
2. Attempt to open Create Product Warehouse Tasks – monitor node /SCWM/MONNAV_CR_P_WT.
3. Attempt to open Create Posting Changes – monitor node /SCWM/MONNAV_CR_PC.
4. Observe the authorization error.

The user's profile had a default warehouse set to a warehouse for which the user had a restriction. The system opened EWM with this restricted warehouse, resulting in the authorization error.

1. In the SAP Fiori launchpad, open the user profile menu and choose Settings.
2. Navigate to Default Values.
3. Locate Warehouse and change it to a warehouse for which the user is authorized, or clear the restricted value.
4. Save the settings.
5. Reload the launchpad and reopen the EWM apps /SCWM/MONNAV_CR_P_WT and /SCWM/MONNAV_CR_PC to confirm access.
