3762379 - SE16N transaction variant: "maintain entries" defaults to on; enforce display-only via se11 SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • In a transaction variant for SE16N, the Maintain entries (entry update) option is on by default when starting a custom transaction based on SE16N.
  • A transaction variant created in SHD0 with entry update set to off and display-only does not persist; the screen still shows entry update on when the custom code is started.
  • No error messages are mentioned.
