Symptom
- The off-cycle event batch rule that should update the Time Profile field is not setting the field.
- In some cases, a new Job Information record is created but the Time Profile value remains unchanged.
- Rule Trace shows “set” action Time Profile, but the field value isn’t reflected in Job Information for some users.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- Job Information
- Off Cycle Event Batch
Reproducing the Issue
Make sure you have an Off-Cycle rule to set Time Profile field (ID: time-type-profile-code) in Job Information and the sample employee is part of the group, then:
- Run the Off-Cycle job and review the job response and Rule Trace to confirm which users were processed.
- Check whether the Time Profile changed as expected.
