Symptom

"Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically" option unavailable for tables in sections on canvas pages in SAC

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.2.10  

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create or open a story on a canvas page.
  2. Add a section (container) to the page.
  3. Insert a table inside the section.
  4. Open the table Designer

Notice : The "Auto-Size and Page Table Vertically" option is unavailable/disabled.

Cause

By design behavior of the product.

Resolution

  1. Move or copy the table outside the container/section on the canvas page.  
  2. Kindly submit an enhancement request to request this feature as per - 2424376 - How do you create an enhancement request and provide feedback for SAP Analytics Cloud?
