3762772 - Authorization group for BOM usage restriction not applied in Maintain Bill of Materials (Version 2)/F1813A - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• In the Fiori app "Maintain Bill of Materials/ (F1813)" and WebGUI app CS03, the authorization control for the restriction type "Authorization Group for BOM Usage" works correctly.
• In the Fiori app "Maintain Bill of Materials (Version 2)/F1813A", the same authorization control does not work.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Assign a business role/catalog that provides access to the BOM apps and maintain the restriction type "Authorization Group for BOM Usage" (for example, via a catalog such as SAP_PLM_BC_MBOM_PC).
2. Open the app "Maintain Bill of Materials/ (F1813)" and verify that BOMs restricted by the configured authorization group are controlled as expected.
3. Open the app "Maintain Bill of Materials (Version 2)/F1813A" with the same user/role and observe that the authorization group restriction is not enforced.

Known issue in app F1813A where the restriction type "Authorization Group for BOM Usage" is not applied; a fix is planned in release CE2608.1.

Use the "Maintain Bill of Materials" app (F1813) as a temporary workaround until system is upgraded to CE2608.1.
