3762775 - How to activate lease contracts in bulk - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Business requirement is to activate multiple lease contracts in bulk which have been created, but not yet activated in the system.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create multiple Lease Contracts via app 'Manage Contract' or 'Contract Management'.
    1. Alternatively, multiple contracts were created via the 'Real Estate Contract' migration object or 'Real Estate Contracts' API.
  2. Requirement is to activate created contracts in one go without processing activation one-by-one via 'Manage Contract' or 'Contract Management'

Resolution

In order to activate contracts in a mass processing way, the following Fiori Apps can be utilized:

  1. 'Worklist: Update Objects'
  2. 'Update Objects in Worklist - Background Job'

These apps enable mass processing of contract activation based on parameters maintained.

For contract activation, the parameters are:

Registration ReasonCNNA Contract Created or Deactivated
