3762900 - Application Job Log Retention Period Cannot Be Extended in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Job logs and execution history are automatically deleted after the system’s standard retention period.
• Historical job executions are no longer visible in the job monitor, preventing reference for audit trail and verification.

1. Run application jobs (for example, using the Schedule Overhead Accounting Jobs app).
2. After the system’s standard retention period elapses, open the job monitor and observe that past job logs and execution history are no longer available.

By design, regular job deletion removes application job logs after the standard retention period defined for the job’s periodicity.

1. Acknowledge that extending or configuring the retention period for application job logs is not supported in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. To keep records longer, download or export the required job logs before they expire.
