Offboarding tasks are not cancelled automatically despite the cancellation job being configured in Provisioning and the ProcessClosurePeriodConfig business rule being set.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Configure the Offboarding cancellation job in Provisioning and set up the ProcessClosurePeriodConfig business rule for task closure.
2. Terminate a user and wait until the configured closure period elapses (for example, one week after the termination date).
3. Observe that the Offboarding tasks for the terminated user remain active and are not cancelled/closed automatically.

The user associated with the Offboarding process is still active. Archiving/automatic closure requires the user to be inactive.

1. Review the termination process to ensure the user is set to inactive on or immediately after the termination target date.
2. After correcting user status, allow the scheduled Offboarding closure/cancellation job to run, or run it according to operational procedures.
3. Verify that tasks are archived/closed as defined by the ProcessClosurePeriodConfig business rule.
