3763003 - Service Order Appear Under Multiple Premises in C4C Premise Overview

Symptom

Service orders are displayed under a premise that is not linked to that premise number in c4c.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • S/4HANA IS-U

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to c4c.
  2. Go to Utilities > Premise.
  3. Search for a premise using the premise number.
  4. Open the Service Orders tab and observe the listed service orders.

Cause

The service order was created without equipment.

When equipment is empty, service orders are fetched by connection object; if that connection object is linked to multiple premises, the same service order appears under each of those premises.

Resolution

  1. Review the service order creation process and ensure the equipment field is correctly determined and populated at creation time.
  2. Check any custom PRE-BADI implementation used during service order creation and adjust it to always set the correct equipment.
  3. Validate mapping so that technical location determination aligns with the intended design (avoid relying on device location when equipment is expected).
  4. Correct existing affected service orders by updating the equipment field to the appropriate equipment.
  5. Retest in a non-production environment and verify in the c4c premise overview that each service order appears only under the intended premise.
