3763187 - Cost Estimate used for target cost calculation in PCC - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Need to know in PCC, the target cost calculation is based on the standard cost estimate or the preliminary cost estimate.

“In the current release, the preliminary (planned) costing variant for PCC is not supported. Instead, Standard Cost Estimate is used to determine the target costs, work in process (WIP), and variances of product cost collector. For more information, see Event-Based WIP and Variance Posting.”
