3763253 - PE04: Payroll Dump PERFORM_INDEX_0 When Exceeding Customer Functions limit

Symptom

  • When creating new customer-specific functions via Creates Functions and Operations (PE04) transaction using the client include PCBURZ**0, a runtime dump occurs in the payroll program RPCALC*0 / H**CALC0:

    Category               ABAP programming error
    Runtime Errors         PERFORM_INDEX_0
    Except.                CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_FORM

    Index 0 in PERFORM.

  • When verifying the number consistency of Internal Object Number (T52A0) table via transaction PE04 (PE04 → Utilities → Check numbers T52A0), the following error is displayed: The following object has a number in the incorrect number range: C FU ***** ** 0
Even after using Correct Errors button, the  Index = 0 remains, despite the following message is displayed: The error in the indexed perform has been successfully repaired.
