3763633 - Permission error on Budget Assignment: "you do not have permission to view the allocated budget page for compensation template"

• When opening or proxying as a planner and opening Budget Assignments for a compensation template, the system displays a permission error.
• Error message: "You do not have permission to view the allocated budget page for compensation template [Name of template]."

1. Navigate to Compensation
2. Select the Budget Assignments tab
3. Click the relevant compensation plan.
4. The page shows a permission error instead of loading the budget assignment view.

The role assignment for the relevant permission role does not have the target population set that includes the user's direct reports.

In addition, the option "Granted users also have the same access to themselves" is not enabled for the target population.

Check the role assignment for the relevant role permission and ensure:

1. The target population includes the user's direct reports
2. Ensure that the checkbox "Granted users also have the same access to themselves" is ticked/enabled when defining the target population
