3763707 - System throws an error "You do not have permission to edit the hidden field – attachment id” while correcting record through job information history using Latest Edit UI - 1H 2026

• When correcting a Job Information record via History using the Latest Edit UI, the system shows the error: "You don't have permission to edit the hidden field attachment-id".
• The issue is only reproducible when an onChange rule hides the attachment-id field.
• The error does not occur when performing the same action using the legacy edit UI (PP3).

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Job Information

1. Configure an Onchange rule on the event-reason field to hide the visibility of the attachment-id field.
   
2. Navigate to the profile of a User and open Job information History.
3. Select a record and click on "Correct".
4. Change the Event Reason that triggers an onChange rule which hides the attachment-id field.
5. Save the change and observe the error: "You don't have permission to edit the hidden field attachment-id".

• Temporarily Disable the onChange rule that hides the visibility of attachment field or Temporarily Disable "Latest Editing and History UI" via Configure Latest People Profile.
