3764194 - Learning Administration - Theme inconsistencies

Symptom

In Learning Administration, the 'add one or more from list' hyperlink as well as some admin pages display inconsistently across the application.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Learning Administration and navigate to Learning Administration > Manage User Learning > Manage Assignments > Add Curricula, for example >
  2. Notice the 'add one or more from list' hyperlink and observe its styling as well as the overall page theme >
  3. Navigate to another page, such as Learning Administration > People > Cohorts > Edit > Users, where the same hyperlink appears, and observe the hyperlink styling and the overall page theme.

Cause

Some admin pages, such as 'Role Management', 'Administrators', 'Cohorts', etc., were not covered by the Horizon enhancements. Other pages, such as 'Manage Assignments', have the Horizon theme applied and inherit theme configurations from Theme Manager.

Resolution

Currently, there are no short-term plans to enhance these pages with Horizon. However, our Development teams have a long-term plan to replace legacy admin pages with new designs, and these new designs would respect the Horizon theme. There is no timeline for the new designs yet.

For the pages where the Horizon theme applies, the styling can be updated in Theme Manager. For the 'add one or more from list' hyperlink, for example, the styling can be updated under Theme Manager > Fine Tune > Portlets > Body link text color.
