3764230 - Application Error When Attaching Certificate Attribute to Family or Role

Symptom

When trying to attach a certificate attribute to a family or role, receive an application error:

An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorId=##, timestamp=## and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring.

Reproducing the Issue

Log into SuccessFactors
In the global search, type Manage Job Profile Content
In the Select Content Type... dropdown, select Set Up Families and Roles
Click on any family or role
Select the Family Attributes or Role Attributes tab
Select Map Attributes
Select Certificates
Select a certificate > Add Details
Populate the Issuing Authority field > Select Done
Receive application error

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

This functionality is currently not supported.

Engineering plans to support this functionality in a future release and you can monitor Road Map Explorer for the update.

Workaround - Add Certification to Job Profile

Navigate to Manage Job Profile Templates, select a template, and add the Certifications section
Navigate to Manage Job Profile Content, select Certification from the dropdown, and create a certification
Navigate to Manage Job Profiles, select a job profile, and add the certification
