3764521 - Translated Custom Business Object name is not displayed in Custom Business Objects App -S/4HANA Public Cloud

After maintaining translations for a Custom Business Object and switching the system language, the object name in the Custom Business Objects application continues to be displayed in its original language.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Maintain translations for a custom business object using the inline Translations application.
2. Switch the system language to one of the translated language.
3. Open the Custom Business Objects application and observe that the object name continues to display in its original language.

The behavior is expected by design.

The Custom Business Objects application always displays the object name in its original language, even when translations have been maintained.

The Translation application is used to translate user interface texts into the available system languages. However, it does not modify the object name displayed in the Custom Business Objects application. When the system language is changed to a translated language, the translated text can be used to search and access the corresponding application.
