• In the mobile app, the Basic Information tile displays more fields than the user has permission to view.
• The additional fields become visible when using the “Show Empty Fields” option in the mobile app.
• The extra fields display blank/null values; no error message appears.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Mobile

1. Log into the mobile app as a user (for example, a manager).
2. Open another user’s profile.
3. Go to the Basic Information tile.
4. Enable “Show Empty Fields”.
5. Observe that fields the user does not have permission to view are listed, but they show empty/blank values.

• Known mobile app issue (1H2026 timeframe): non-permissioned fields are rendered as visible entries (with blank/null values) in the Basic Information tile when “Show Empty Fields” is used.
• Data permissions are not bypassed (no extra data is seen)

1. Update to the 2607 release. This release hides fields for which the user does not have viewing permission, instead of displaying them as empty.
2. Until the update is applied, note that the behavior does not expose any unauthorized data; only blank/null values are displayed.
