3764542 - Fiori App-Display Correspondence History (F2934) is not working, no data is displayed or error message like >0149 >6177 is raised

Symptom

When attempting to utilize specific Fiori Apps, unexpected outcomes may occur, when starting transaction CORRHIST (Display Correspondence History) from a WebGUI or Fiori app F2934
One symptom of this issue is a lack of displayed data.
Alternatively, one of the following error message is raised:

  • Error CUS_O2C_GENTOOLS060 'No FI-CA active in your system'.
  • Error >4071 'Central settings not maintained'.
  • Error >0149 'Client 100 does not contain an active application area'.
  • Error >6177 'Mass activity type FPVA does not exist'.
  • Error PYC_CONF003 'Sorry, a technical error occurred. Please try again later'.
  • 'Sorry, a technical error occurred. Please try again later.
    500 (Internal Server Error) HTTP request failed.
  • Error message: "Cancel: Client does not contain an active application area" — Message No. >0149.
