Symptom
"An Application error has occurred" when trying to use "Keyword" field for searching & adding users across the application. As it stands, this is impacting Learning Administrators with domain restrictions.

Reproducing the Issue
Scenario 1
- Access Learning Admin >
- Search for a class >
- Open a Class >
- Go to the “Registrations” tab >
- Select “Add User” >
- Enter a value in the “Keyword” field >
- Click on "Search" >
- The error is displayed.
Scenario 2
- Access Learning Admin >
- Under Manage User Learning >
- Click on "Add Learning History for Multiple Users" >
- Under "Search & Add Users" section click on “UserID Search” >
- Enter a value in the “Keyword” field >
- Click on "Search" >
- The error is displayed.
Resolution
Our Learning Engineering team has finalized their work on the situation, and the fix is scheduled to be delivered with 2605 patch 7. Additional details are available in the following links: Product Release & Road Map Information | SAP SuccessFactors - Patch Details (KBA 2287597).
Please note that:
- The fix delivered through 2605 patch 7 applies to the standard “User” search selector code.
- If your “User” search selector is customized and the error described in the “Symptom” section occurs, please open a case with SAP Support ("LOD-SF-LMS-ADM" component) and provide your selector configuration. This will be reviewed by the Learning Engineering team.
