3765016 - Application Error "An application error has occurred. Please try again." when using "Keyword" field under User search across the application

"An Application error has occurred" when trying to use "Keyword" field for searching & adding users across the application. As it stands, this is impacting Learning Administrators with domain restrictions.

Scenario 1

1. Access Learning Admin >
2. Search for a class >
3. Open a Class >
4. Go to the “Registrations” tab >
5. Select “Add User” >
6. Enter a value in the “Keyword” field >
7. Click on "Search" >
8. The error is displayed.

Scenario 2

1. Access Learning Admin >
2. Under Manage User Learning  >
3. Click on "Add Learning History for Multiple Users" >
4. Under "Search & Add Users" section click on “UserID Search” >
5. Enter a value in the “Keyword” field >
6. Click on "Search" >
7. The error is displayed.

Please note that:

• The fix delivered through 2605 patch 7 applies to the standard “User” search selector code.
• If your “User” search selector is customized and the error described in the “Symptom” section occurs, please open a case with SAP Support ("LOD-SF-LMS-ADM" component) and provide your selector configuration. This will be reviewed by the Learning Engineering team.
