Symptom
When customizing the form template, it is required to change the decimal pattern (for example from 2 decimals to 3 decimals) for the number displayed.

Reproducing the Issue
- Customize a form template using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
- It is required to change the decimal pattern (for example from 2 decimals to 3 decimals) for the number displayed in the form.
Resolution
Follow the below steps to modify the decimal patterns aligning to the business need:
- Copy an existing check form template in the Maintain Form Templates app to create a custom template.
- Download the copied custom template.
- Open the custom template in Adobe LiveCycle Designer.
- Select the amount field that prints the numeric amount.
- In the Cell property, choose Type Decimal Field -> set the Pattern to the required format and save the template.
- Upload the updated template back to SAP system.
