3765237 - Derivation of period control fields (perbaw, perbif, perbaa, perbzr) automatically, if not filled by customer

Symptom

  • Clarification is needed on how T090NP fields PERBAW, PERBIF, PERBAA, and PERBZR  (ie Revaluation, Investment Support, Unplanned Depreciation and Wrie-up) are filled internally when not explicitly maintained in Customizing.
  • In period control method configuration, RAASSIGNMENT_SHOW displays different values between systems.
  • Table T090NP / customizing transaction AFAMP is maintained with base controls (for example PERBZU=04, PERBNA=06, PERBAB=02, PERBUM=02), while PERBAW, PERBIF, PERBAA, PERBZR are not explicitly maintained.
  • In RAASSIGNMENT_SHOW, the period control for unplanned depreciation is displayed as 01 in SAP S/4HANA, while ECC showed 04 for the same depreciation key setup.
