3765254 - DRTM Learning data purge completes but learning activity history is not removed — successfactors learning

A DRTM Learning Data Purge request for Learning Activity completes successfully, but the user's completed items/history remains unchanged.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. In Admin Center, open Data Retention Management and create a new purge request with type DRTM Learning Data Purge.
2. In the purge rule, choose the option to select one user and enter the user's id.
3. Select Learning Activity as the purge object.
4. Add an approver.
5. Launch the request immediately and have it approved.
6. After the job completes, check the user in Learning Administration: the completed items/history is still present.

• The setting "Enable legal entity-based data retention (This feature is available only when Employee Central is also enabled)" is enabled in Company System and Logo Settings while no legal entity-based retention policy is configured.
• This causes only historical data (for example, older than 10 years) to be considered, so targeted learning activity records are not purged.

1. Go to Admin Center > Company System and Logo Settings.
2. Locate "Enable legal entity-based data retention (This feature is available only when Employee Central is also enabled)"
3. Uncheck the option and save the changes.
