3765258 - Search competency/attribute by Position ID/Number in TIH

• When using Manage Talent Intelligence Hub to maintain attributes, searching for an attribute using the Position ID/Position number, then clicking Edit and Save, redirects the user back to the search page, clearing the previous search criteria.
• Users need to re-enter the Position ID after each save.

Talent Intelligence Hub and Job Profiles

1. Go to Manage Talent Intelligence Hub.
2. Search for an attribute using the Position ID/Position number.
3. Open the attribute.
4. Click Edit.
5. Make changes if needed.
6. Click Save.
7. The system returns to the search page.
8. The previous search value is no longer retained, so the user must enter the Position ID again.

By design, the “Search by Name” field supports searching by attribute/competency name only. Searching by Position ID/Position number is not supported and such criteria are not retained after saving.

1. Use the supported “Search by Name” option and enter the attribute/competency name to locate items.
2. Avoid using Position ID/Position number as search criteria in Manage Talent Intelligence Hub, as it is not supported and won’t be retained after saving.
3. After saving changes, run the search again using the attribute/competency name if further updates are needed.
