Symptom
- When generating a Data Subject Information Report (DSIR), the output does not include all expected data from performance forms. (Overall Performance, Potential, Objective, Competency)
Environment
- Product: SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals
- Reporting & Analytics, Data Imports & Exports
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the “Data Subject Information” tool via the search bar.
- Select the “Data Subject Search” tab.
- Choose “People Search”.
- Select a user and choose a language.
- Click “Generate Report”.
- Observe that some performance form ratings (e.g. objective/competency/performance/potential) are missing in the report for certain forms/years while others display all expected ratings.
Cause
DSIR follows the same permission logic as the OData API and the form UI.
If form template permissions hide sections (for example, objective/competency summary) or rating fields from the user generating the report, those data points are not included in the DSIR.
Resolution
Data Subject Information Reports will only return data visible to the user running the report, aligned with form UI and OData API permission checks.
Ensure the user running DSIR has permission to view the relevant sections and the associated rating fields in all steps (or at least the step the form is currently in)
