3765657 - saxparseexception "premature end of file" during cloud build after jdk 21 upgrade – SAP commerce cloud

Symptom

  • During the build process in SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) after upgrading to JDK 21, the build fails with the following error:
Exception in thread "main" de.hybris.ccv2.corecommerce.version.supported.VersionNotSupportedException: Version 2211-jdk21.5 is not supported. Supported versions are: 2211.43, 2211.44, 2211.45, ..., 2211-jdk21.6, 2211-jdk21.7, 2211-jdk21.9, ...

**Note : The version 2211-jdk21.5 mentioned here is only an example. This issue can occur with any Commerce version that is no longer supported. It is recommended to always verify the version against the SAP Help Portal documentation and ensure it is not listed under unsupported or expired releases.**
