Symptom

In SSCUI 103140 - Maintain Migration Status for Time-dependent Taxes, error FOT_TDT051 is encountered: 'System does not support migration for time dependent tax calculation in &'.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open configuration activity SSCUI 103140 – Maintain Migration Status for Time-Dependent Taxes.
  2. Change the status to "1 – Migration initiated (but not yet started)".
  3. The system shows error FOT_TDT051: “System does not support migration for time-dependent tax calculation in CA.”

Cause

The selected country/region is not enabled for Time-Dependent Taxes. Refer to: Countries/Regions Where Time-Dependent Taxes Is Enabled.

Resolution

If the Country is not available for Time Dependent Tax, create a case/Service Request according to the Roadmap Configure Tax Solution
Subject: Request expert configuration for new tax code.
Description: Please perform expert configuration per the attached document
