3765739 - Job application answers missing for a specific requisition - Recruiting Management

• One specific requisition does not show job application answers in the application UI although candidates applied and progressed.
• In reporting, the columns for the missing application fields can be selected, but the data is blank for the affected requisition.
• No error message is displayed.

1. Go to Recruiting.
2. Search for the affected requisition.
3. Open any candidate application and observe that some fields in Applicant Information are missing.
4. Open reporting and filter by the requisition or its job title; observe the columns appear but contain no data for those fields.

• Country-based field restrictions in the Candidate Application template (field-permission and/or field-attr-override) limited visibility of certain custom fields to specific requisition country values. The affected requisition’s country did not match the allowed values, so those fields were not rendered to applicants and no data was collected. This is expected behavior.

1. Review the Candidate Application template in Manage Templates (or equivalent XML) and identify field-permission and field-attr-override entries that are scoped by country.
2. Verify the Country value on the affected Job Requisition and compare it with the country conditions defined for the custom fields.
3. If those fields should be visible for this requisition, update the template to include the required country in the relevant permissions/overrides or use a wildcard (*) if appropriate and compliant with business rules.
4. Alternatively, align the requisition’s Country with the template’s permitted countries when creating future requisitions that must collect these fields.
5. Re-test by creating a new test requisition and submitting a test application to confirm the fields render and data is captured.
6. Note: Historical applications where fields were not rendered cannot have data retroactively populated; reporting will show columns but no data for those applications.
