3766073 - TM_52 and TM_53 (and related trm functions) not available for user with treasury roles; access via process financial transactions (ftr_edit) in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

Symptom

  • Apps ex. TM_52, TM_53 are not available for the user assigned with treasury management roles.
  • Apps ex. FTRTLC02, FTRTLC03 are not available for the user assigned with treasury management roles.
  • Apps ex. TS02, TS04 are not available for the user assigned with treasury management roles.
  • Apps ex. TM_62, TM_63 are not available for the user assigned with treasury management roles.

Environment

  • Product: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
  • Transaction Management (Public Cloud)

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Assign treasury management roles and relevant business catalogs to the user.
  2. Log on to the fiori launchpad.
  3. Search for or try to launch TM_52/TM_53 (and other listed TRM apps) as standalone tiles.
  4. Observe that these apps are not available to the user.

Cause

In this scope, the requested TRM functions (for example TM_52, TM_53) are accessed via the central entry app Process Financial Transactions (FTR_EDIT) rather than as standalone tiles.

Resolution

  1. Open the app Process Financial Transactions (FTR_EDIT) in the fiori launchpad.
  2. From the initial screen of FTR_EDIT, navigate to the required function (for example, Change Interest Rate Instrument, Display Interest Rate Instrument, Settle, Reverse, Rollover, history, and related TRM functions).
  3. Execute the desired activity from within FTR_EDIT.
  4. If the app is not visible, ensure the user’s business role includes access to Process Financial Transactions (FTR_EDIT).
  5. Refer to the product documentation for navigation details and supported functions within FTR_EDIT.
