3766116 - Error: "Received fatal alert: handshake_failure" when sending messages from Managed Gateway for Spend&Network to SAP PO

Symptom

When messages are sent from Managed Gateway for Spend&Network to my SAP Process Orchestration (PO) system, I see messages failing randomly in the Transaction Tracker with the error:

com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxIOException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure

When I reprocess the failed messages, they are processed without further error.
