3766806 - Users Are Added in SCI However They Are Not Showing in Signavio After Read Sync

Symptom

  • Users are receiving Oops error with a request ID when trying to access Signavio after user added via SCI.
  • User has been provisioned via IAS but unable to access workspace.
  • READ sync job is not sending added SCI user to Signavio.
  • User was removed from Signavio after last SCI sync job.

Environment

  • SAP Signavio Process Manager
  • SAP Signavio Collaboration Hub

Cause

  • For a successful synchronization, users needs to be in at least one group with the Signavio_<workspaceID>_ prefix.

Resolution

  1. In cloud identity, create the required groups for the workspace and ensure the display name include the prefix: 'Signavio_<workspaceID>_' for the groups. Examples below:
  • Signavio_<workspaceID>_Administrators
  • Signavio_<workspaceID>_Modelers (as needed)
  • Signavio_<workspaceID>_Hub (as needed)
  1. Assign each user to at least one of these groups.
  2. Run the cloud identity to application provisioning sync (or wait for the scheduled sync) to recreate or update users and group memberships in the workspace.
  3. If users were previously removed due to a read provisioning job, re-add the users in cloud identity, ensure correct group assignments, and run a resync.
  4. Retry SSO login to the workspace after a few moments to allow for the sync to complete.
