3766839 - Unexpected CHANGE in paycompensation_recurring after value changes from null to 0.0 - Compound Employee API

Symptom

The Compound Employee API returns a paycompensation_recurring segment with action CHANGE, even though no user-driven modification was performed.

Upon data review, a field within the segment was updated from null (empty) to 0.0, which triggered the CHANGE action.

However, this update does not represent a logical business change (null to 0.0), and no manual action was taken to modify this field.
