Symptom
- Updating the Final Invoice indicator on a purchase order item initiates a PO output email unexpectedly.
- SSCUI 102272 is configured to not send PO output for ISFINALLYINVOICED changes, but the output is still sent.
- The PO was copied by Test Data Refresh from Production system to Test system.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Preform Test Data Refresh process to copy PO from Production system to Test system.
- Update the Final Invoice indicator on a purchase order item.
- Observe that a PO output email is sent even though SSCUI 102272 excludes ISFINALLYINVOICED from output-relevant changes.
Cause
- After purchase orders are copied into a test system, existing output items are not copied.
- On the first subsequent change (for example, updating the Final Invoice indicator or delivery date), the system performs initial output determination and creates a new output item that is not governed by SSCUI 102272 change-relevance.
- From the second change onwards, change-relevance (for example via ME_CHANGES_PRINTOUT and ME_READ_CHANGES_EINKBELEG) is considered; therefore, no further outputs are created for ISFINALLYINVOICED if excluded.
