Symptom
- In geomap visualizations with a measure formatted as a percentage and thresholds applied, the tooltip range bar shows incorrect X-axis values (for example: -infinite, -0, 0, +0, +infinite) instead of percentage ranges.
- The issue occurs only when the measure is formatted as a percentage.
- The same measure formatted as an absolute number displays correctly.
- The problem affects data readability and usability of geomap visualizations.
- The behavior is observed for all users tested in the affected stories.
- Other chart types display correct percentage ranges; the issue appears limited to the geomap tooltip range bar.
Environment
Product: SAP Analytics Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
- Create or open a story containing a geomap visualization.
- Add a measure to the geomap and set its number formatting to percentage (%).
- Define and apply thresholds for the measure (for example, -10%, 0%, +10%).
- Hover over a geomap data point and review the tooltip’s range bar: the X-axis shows values such as -infinite, -0, 0, +0, +infinite instead of the expected percentage thresholds.
